Aidan Byrne was commissioned to do a mosaic for Our Lady’s Bower this year.
We first contacted him in March and booked him for workshops with our students during our Arts week to be held from 8th -11th October 2019.
I met with him in early September with a brief, outlining ideas and requirements relevant to our school ethos.
Aidan engaged instantly in the design process always keeping the brief at the fore.
He worked with an open mind and was always open to the schools’ needs.
Aidan was professional throughout a total of 4 days working with the students.
He engaged with the students immediately and his instruction was clear and delivered with enthusiasm.
